London Trash

Did You Know?

The following materials will NOT be collected at the curb: scrap metal (propane tanks, barbecues, bike frames, car parts, etc.), construction and renovation materials (drywall, wood, etc.), appliances (fridges, stoves, etc.), electronics (TVs, monitors, computers, etc.), tires, and compact fluorescent light bulbs / tubes.

About

This site is a product of a team of gifted designers and developers and a bunch of ordinary citizens who believed something amazing was possible. Over the course of an intense weekend, and two weeks of development, 30 strangers formed a team, shared their talents and knowledge, and started a movement. It was our city's very first hackathon – it won't be our last.

We would like to gratefully acknowledge the co-operation of the City of London. Without their invaluable advice this project would not have been possible.
